SOMATIC TOUCH THERAPY
Resourcing your body and nervous system for greater ease, safety, and presence.
How I can help you
If you live with anxiety, chronic stress, trauma, or a persistent sense of overwhelm, Somatic Touch Therapy offers a gentle, body‑centered path toward regulation and embodied resilience.
Is This For You?
This work may support you if you:
Experience anxiety, nervous system dysregulation, or emotional overwhelm
Carry trauma, shock, or long‑held stress in your body
Feel disconnected, tense, or constantly on alert
Want more than talk therapy alone
Long to feel grounded, safe, and at home in your body
Clients often report feeling calmer, more spacious, emotionally available, and better able to meet daily life with choice rather than reactivity.
What Is Somatic Touch Therapy?
Somatic Touch Therapy is a trauma‑informed, body‑based approach that works directly with the nervous system. Instead of focusing primarily on thoughts or stories, we track sensation, breath, and nervous system responses in the present moment.
Through gentle, consent‑based touch and guided awareness, your body’s innate capacity for regulation, integration, and healing is supported.
What Sessions Are Like
Sessions are slow, collaborative, and led by your body’s signals.
You can expect:
Nervous system‑informed therapeutic touch (always optional)
Support for settling, safety, and boundaries
Somatic awareness and integration
A pace that honors your capacity
No prior experience with somatic work is needed.
The heart of this work is simple: your body already knows how to heal.
My role is to create the conditions — through presence, touch, and pace — for that healing to unfold with clarity and ease.

with The Somatic Therapy Center Training Institute
Hello there,
I’m Kseniya. My path has been shaped by years of exploring movement, art, and my own healing, as well as hands-on caregiving with older adults living with early dementia. These experiences taught me that real healing isn’t about fixing — it’s about returning to connection through presence, touch, and the body.
I came to this work seeking a deeper relationship with myself, and what I discovered has become the heart of my practice: the body knows how to soften, unwind, and find its way home when it feels supported.
Today, I help others reconnect with their own inner wisdom, ease patterns of tension and overwhelm, and inhabit themselves with more honesty and compassion. My approach is gentle, intuitive, and grounded in both training and lived experience.
If you’re longing for more ease, clarity, or a deeper sense of home in your body, I’d be honored to walk with you.
“Working with Kseniya has been a transformative experience. Her gentle, supportive touch and thoughtful guided sensory-based questions create a space of safety and trust. Through her skilled approach, I have a new heightened awareness of how to listen to my body’s signals. This has helped me to uncover deep embedded emotions and understand the best ways for my body to process and heal. My sessions always leave me with a sense of clarity for next steps in healing.”

“ Kseniya puts you at ease even if somatic therapy is new to you. She supports and nurtures our joint exploration without pushing any agenda or destination. I feel challenged to go into unknown territory but also validated if I'm not ready to take that next step. Kseniya's gentle, caring touch has opened up emotions that I can rarely express and allowed me to gain new perspectives on how emotions and stress are held in my body. She is humble and vulnerable enough to share her knowledge without ever making you feel foolish for trying something new. It's been great learning with her!”

-
What happens in session one?
Your first session is an introduction to the work and an opportunity to listen to your nervous system together. We will begin with a brief conversation about what brings you here, then move slowly into somatic awareness and, if appropriate, gentle, consent-based touch. The pace is collaborative and guided by your body’s signals. There is no pressure to share more than feels comfortable. Establishing safety, trust, and orientation is the priority.
-
How can I best prepare?
To support your nervous system and integration:Please avoid eating a heavy meal at least two hours prior to your session
Avoid alcohol or recreational drugs before your session
Drink plenty of fluids before and after your session
Wear loose-fitting, comfortable layers that allow you to adjust to temperature as your nervous system settles
Please no shorts, dresses, or skirts
A pair of socks is recommended
If possible, consider allowing some gentle space after your session. Many clients find it supportive to:
Take a quiet walk
Enjoy a bath or warm shower
Journal or reflect
Spend time alone or resting
This helps your system integrate the work more fully.
-
How long do people usually work with you?
Somatic work is cumulative and unfolds over time. While each person is different, a minimum of 10 sessions or more is recommended to support meaningful nervous system regulation, integration, and lasting change. How often should I come in?
Every 1–2 weeks is recommended to build momentum and actively work with embodiment, nervous system patterns, and integration.
Every 3–4 weeks can be supportive for ongoing attunement, maintenance, and deeper listening once a foundation has been established.
We will regularly check in together about pacing, frequency, and what best supports your nervous system and life circumstances.
